RCMP searching for boy

RCMP are asking for help to locate a boy, 14 who was reported missing Friday.

Jamie Rae Shorting is from Long Plain First Nation, about 30 kilometres southwest of Portage la Prairie.

Shorting was last seen wearing knee length denim shorts, a black track style jacket, black cap with "A" on the front and black and red Reebok running shoes. He is described as 5-5 and weighs 106 pounds. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen Shorting is asked to contact the Portage la Prairie RCMP detachment at 204-857-8767 or their local law enforcement agency.
