RM of North Cypress farmer injured as tractor and train collide at crossing

A 44-year-old farmer from the RM of North Cypress was injured just before noon today when the tractor he was driving collided with an east-bound CP Rail train.

The collision at 11:50 a.m. happened at an uncontrolled crossing south of the Trans-Canada Highway, 16 kilometres west of Carberry, RCMP said.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance. His condition is unknown.
