Advertising students from Red River College’s creative communications program have won five of the six major awards in a national competition.
They’re in line to share a $100,000 pot of prizes.
The "Students Verb Charities" contest is sponsored by Imagine Canada and the Muttart Foundation to reward exceptional promotional campaigns on how charities affect our quality of life.
RRC’s advertising majors formed five teams of two to four people each. Each team developed a creative concept and video, and each of the five teams will take home an award, ranging from $2,500 to $50,000. Who wins which award will be announced in Toronto next month.
