A Manitoba teen who vanished without a trace last December has been found dead this week just north of Winnipeg.
RCMP say remains found Tuesday in St. Andrews have been identified as those of 16-year-old Mark Anthony Cloud. Investigators say foul play is not suspected, but have released no other details.
Cloud is originally from Brandon but went missing from the St. Andrews area, according to RCMP. Specific details of where the remains were found have not been released.
Friends and family of the missing teen have flooded social media over the past 10 months, making numerous pleas for information. They say Cloud recently became a big brother to a newborn sibling he never met.
RCMP described Cloud as an "at-risk youth" in their initial press release about his case last winter. No other details were provided.
Cloud was described as 5'9" tall and about 150 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black toque, black sweater, fingerless black gloves, jeans, and black sneakers with gold and burgundy shoe laces. He had a set of black and yellow headphones on his possession.
