Restaurant on Broadway robbed Friday afternoon

A restaurant worker wasn’t injured after a man with a weapon robbed a restaurant on Friday.

Winnipeg police said today that a lone man went into a restaurant in the 300 block of Broadway at about 4:55 p.m.

The man went up to the lone 45-year-old female employee and demanded and received cash before fleeing.

The man is described as 20 to 30 years of age, dark skinned, 5-8 to 5-9 tall, and a medium build.
