Robbers strike twice within 75 minutes
Two strong-arm robberies in the city late last night within 75 minutes of each other are believed to be related, police said today.
Monday about 10 p.m. two males approached a male youth in the 300 block of Paddington Road and robbed him of property. The robbers fled southbound in a grey SUV.
The victim wasn’t hurt.
Police are looking for two males in their early teens. The first male is Caucasian, about 6’0, with a medium build. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, and wore a white hooded sweatshirt.
The second male is Caucasian, 5’10, with a medium build and bushy eyebrows. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt.
About 75 minutes later five youths were in the area of Sandrington Drive and Pear Tree Bay when they were confronted by another group of youths and assaulted. Personal property was then taken from the victims.
Two of the victims sustained injuries.
A white van was observed in the area and may be involved, police said.
Police are seeking a 20-year-old man with a dark complexion, about 6’0 and skinny. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, black track pants and black shoes.
The second robber is a Caucasian male about 19 years old. He’s about 6’0, skinny and has short brown hair. He wore a light grey or blue shirt, and blue jeans.
The third robber is a Caucasian man about 20 years old. He’s about 6’0, skinny, and with short brown hair. He wore a red shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
Police ask anyone with information to call 986-2857 or CrimeStoppers at 786-8477 (TIPS).
