There must be something in the Sagkeeng water.
Residents of the First Nation reserve are celebrating another large lottery win after a couple claimed a $1-million prize in the Western Max lottery earlier this month.
The lucky couple is scheduled to be unveiled at a cheque presentation at the Fort Garry Hotel Thursday afternoon, according to a Western Canada Lottery Corporation release.
Sagkeeng is no stranger to millions in lottery payouts. Back in November 2009, Kirby and Marie Fontaine won $50 million after successfully picking the seven winning numbers in the Lotto Max draw.
