Sections of Trans-Canada, Yellowhead highways among weather-related closures

The Trans-Canada Highway was closed from Headingley to Virden on Friday night with no word on when it will reopen.

The Yellowhead Highway, or Highway 16, was also closed from Portage la Prairie to Minnedosa. Parts of Highways 3 and 23 were listed as covered with snow. Many highways have snow packed conditions.
