Serena Ryder to perform at Burton Cummings Theatre

  • Print

Canadian singer Serena Ryder returns to Winnipeg on Aug. 6, only a few short months since co-hosting the 2014 Juno Awards gala in the city.

Instead of walking the flashy stage in front of a national TV audience at the MTS Centre, Ryder will perform her hits at the Burton Cummings Theatre.

Tickets, which sell for $20 and $39.59 plus service charges, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.

Ryder, is still riding the wave of her 2012 release Harmony, which has spawned three hit singles, including the triple-platinum Stompa and What I Wouldn’t Do, which has gone double platinum. She also won a Canadian Screen Award for original song earlier this year for It’s No Mistake, which she co-wrote with Jimmy Harry for the film The Right Kind of Wrong.
