Several injured in Salter crash

Several people were injured in a two-car crash on Saturday afternoon.

The accident occured just after 4 p.m., when a Dodge Neon and a Nissan Sentra collided at a near head-on angle near the corner of Salter Street and Dufferin Avenue, just north of the Salter Street Bridge.

Witnesses reported seeing three people treated for injuries, though none appeared to be life-threatening.

Before police and paramedics arrived on the scene, witnesses raced to help comfort and support the occupants of the two cars.
