Showers expected tonight

  • Print

Weather-wise, the first weekend of May figures to be a little cool.

Environment Canada is calling for a 30 per cent chance of showers this morning, giving way to a mix of sun and cloud later today. The northwest wind will switch to northeast 30 km/h early this afternoon.

The high will be 13 C, slightly cooler than the normal daytime high of 17 C for this time of year.

Tonight, look for a 60 per cent chance of showers. The low is expected to drop down to 2 C.

The next couple days should be filled with sunshine, so you will be able to start tackling that spring yard clean up, but the mercury is expected to sit well below normal.

The highs for Saturday and Sunday are 8 C and 7 C, respectively.
