Winnipeg police squelched an alleged drug operation on Quelch Street this week.
On Tuesday, police went to a home in the 100 block of the street looking for a wanted suspect, and found the man as well some obvious signs of drug trafficking. In all, six people were arrested.
Police seized 15.2 grams of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of about $1,540. They also found 77.2 grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $770, several dozen Restoril tablets, nearly 200 Tylenol-3 tablets, scales and other drug paraphernalia, nearly $4,000 in Canadian money and brass knuckles.
Three men and three females face a number of drug and weapons charges.
