Sixth annual Flight for Life this weekend at KP Shopping Centre

The 176 Boeing of the Canada Royal Canadian Air Cadet squadron will be holding its sixth annual Flight for Life Friday through Sunday at the Kildonan Place Shopping Centre.

The air cadets will be raising money for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. During this three-day event, cadets from across Manitoba will fly a flight simulator on a cross-country flight from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Victoria, British Columbia. The goal of the project is to collect one dollar for every mile flown.

As an added bonus this year, the public can try the ‘Dream Flyer’ motion flight simulator. Flights are available on a first come, first serve basis on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
