The weather for Mother’s Day looks like a mixed bag of sun and cloud and wind and rain.
Environment Canada says there is a 30 per cent chance of showers this afternoon, with a 20-kilometre-per-hour northeast wind, a high of 17 Celsius and a UV index rating of six or high. Overnight, about five millimetres of rain is expected with a low of 6 C.
The rain should stop Monday morning with partly cloudy skies and a 30 per cent chance of showers in the evening, a north wind of 30 km/h and a high of 10 C.
There’s a 70 per cent chance of shower Tuesday, then skies are expected to clear for the rest of the week, with the temperature climbing to 19 C Saturday.
