Eastbound Portage Avenue at Erin Street is closed to traffic due to a transit bus that broke down and spewed heavy smoke.
The event took place at about 3:20 p.m. today in the 1200 block of Portage.
The road closure is expected to last about an hour and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
