Don’t be surprised if you see a little snow blowing around today.
Environment Canada is calling for periods of snow beginning this morning, with 2-4 centimetres expected to fall in the Winnipeg area. Today’s high should be around the freezing mark.
That snow figures to let up as the evening arrives, leaving a 30 per cent chance of flurries overnight. The wind should kick up to north 20 km/h and a low of -6 C is expected.
Friday will see a high of 0 C before things start to warm up for the weekend. A 30 per cent chance of precipitation and a high of 6 C is forecast for Saturday.
Sunday’s high should be around the 2 C mark.
