Snowmobiles, trailers, industrial lifts, generators and cement mixers were among the nearly $123,000 in stolen property found by police at a site in the RM of Springfield and a home in the 400 block of Hartford Avenue in Winnipeg.

Now, RCMP say a 48-year-old Winnipegger, Colin Joel Busko, faces 17 counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

He has been released from custody and is due in court Nov. 21.

On Sept. 20, RCMP searched a property north of Winnipeg and found a variety of stolen items. that led to a search this week of the property in the North End.

It's believed most of the items were stolen from Winnipeg.

RCMP continue to investigate, and ask anyone with information on the thefts of construction equipment to call the RCMP auto theft unit at 204-984-3761.
