Snowy morning makes for tricky driving in southern Manitoba

Use caution when travelling on the slick city streets and blustery highways in southern Manitoba this morning.

Manitoba Highways is reporting snow-covered highways, swirling snow and low visibility on highways heading west all the way to Saskatchewan, and east up to Hadashville.

There there are no highway closures as of 7:30 a.m.

Snow is expected to end late this morning in Winnipeg, then it will be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of flurries. About two centimetres of snow are expected. The high is expected to hit -15 C but it will feel like -30 with wind chill.

Tonight will be overcast with an expected low of -21 C but the wind chill making it feel like -28 C.

Wednesday will be cloudy in the morning but clearing in the afternoon with a high of -17 C expected.
