Southbound Disraeli lanes open next week

Southbound traffic will be able to travel on the new Disraeli overpass starting next week.

On Monday, City of Winnipeg officials said the southbound lanes on the new overpass will be open to traffic at 6 a.m.

Northbound lanes opened in June. Later this fall, the northbound lanes of the bridge and roadway connecting the roadway to the bridge will open. Construction is slated to be complete in October.

The Disraeli Bridges Project cost $195 million, and is on time and on budget.
