Spring curbside giveaway to be held May 12-13

If you're looking to do some spring cleaning, Winnipeg will hold its first curbside giveaway of the year on May 12-13.

City of Winnipeg officials say any unwanted items should be labelled "free" and placed on the curb on your front street. Keep any items that you don't want taken by eager bargain-hunters, and remove leftover items from the curb by dusk on Sunday.

City of Winnipeg officials are reminding residents not to put out any items that are hazardous, unsafe or may contain bedbugs.

The city's fall giveaway weekend will be held on Sept. 8-9.
