Strike force investigates early-morning house fire

The Arson Strike Force is investigating the cause of a Tyndal Park house fire early Saturday morning.

The fire reported at about 12:30 a.m. was in the first 100 block of Avery Drive and resulted in minor injuries to one male, including smoke inhalation, and $100,000 in damage. The male did not have to be taken to hospital.

The fire started in an attached gazebo in the rear of the house.
