Sunshine on horizon after stormy week

Just hold on one more day for that sun, Winnipeg weather fans.

We’ll get just a taste of it today, and then it’s clear sailing sunny skies right through the weekend and into next week.

But today, grab your brolly, just in case. There’s sun and cloud this morning with a 40 per cent chance of showers later on, and a risk of a thunderstorm this afternoon.

It’s 14 C right now, and should hit a high of 22 C. The UV index is 7 or higher.

But tomorrow, oh tomorrow, sun, sun and more sun. Highs through the weekend through to Wednesday will range from 24 to 27 C degrees.

Happy days are here again.
