Suspect faces attempted murder charge after man injured by 'edged weapon'
A 30-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident at Shoal River Cree Nation, RCMP report.
Swan River RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of an injured man at a residence on Shoal River Cree Nation shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 3. Police found a 36-year-old man with serious injuries caused by an "edged weapon" and he was taken to hospital.
Rudy Theodore Kematch, of Shoal River Cree Nation, was arrested and has been charged with attempted murder. He remains in custody.
