Suspect sought after indecent act at University of Manitoba

Police are looking for a man after he exposed himself to a woman at the University of Manitoba.

The incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 6:40 p.m. in a gym on the Fort Garry campus.

The victim, a 22-year-old woman, was working out when she noticed a man watching her. The man, who wasn’t known to the woman, then exposed himself and performed an indecent act. She yelled out and the suspect exited the area.

Campus security and Winnipeg police were notified.

The suspect is described as East Indian in appearance, 25-30 years old, and 5-foot-10 with an average build. He was wearing a navy blue T-shirt and shorts.

Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
