TIME-LAPSE: From Wiggles to NBA basketball at MTS Centre

MTS Centre may not be as busy as it usually is this time of year with the NHL lockout in place, but it's still a hub of activity.
The Free Press set up a time-lapse camera to capture the transformation from a concert venue for The Wiggles show on Monday evening to a basketball court for the pre-season match-up of the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves Wednesday night.
Minutes after The Wiggles show ended at approximately 8 p.m. Monday, crews began to clear out the venue, taking down stage props and removing floor chairs and sound equipment. That process took about two hours.
At midnight, MTS Centre crews moved in to deconstruct the stage and begin laying down the hardwood basketball court, which took most of the night.
Crews put the finishing touches on the basketball court, seating and signage for several hours on Tuesday and also did sound and light tests.

Below is a video with of the preseason action Wednesday night at MTS Centre. The Timberwolve beat the Pistons 95-76.
