Teen arrested after sister stabbed

A 21-year-old woman allegedly stabbed by her younger sister in a residence in the 900 block of Lipton Street Friday night was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.

Police say the stabbing started with a verbal dispute just before 8 p.m. that escalated until the 17-year-old girl stabbed her sister. The suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with several offences.
