Teens accused of vehicle vandalism

TWO 17-year-old boys were arrested Saturday night after four cars in Transcona were vandalized.

Winnipeg police said it’s alleged the two boys were driving in the 500 block of McMeans Avenue East just before 11 p.m. when one reached out the car window and smashed the windows of four parked cars.

Total damage to the parked cars was about $2,000.

Both boys were released on a promise to appear in court.
