Thick fog blankets area north of city

Commuters are reporting a thick blanket of fog north of the city this morning.
One commuter from East St. Paul says the fog is so thick that visibility is down to less than 40 metres.
Avoid the Perimeter Highway and stay on city streets, the commuter advised.
