Three men sought after pawn shop robbery

Winnipeg police are looking for three men after a smash and grab at a Main Street pawn shop on Wednesday.

Police said today that three men went into the pawn shop, in the 800 block of Main Street, at about 4:30 p.m., and sprayed bear spray at two men working there. The two suffered minor injuries and "significant discomfort."

The three suspects smashed display cases and took gold jewellery, rings, chains and watches before leaving.

The first man is described as 23 to 24, 6-4, and medium build, the second man is described as 24 to 25, 6-0, and medium build, while the third man is described as 22, 5-2, and a muscular build.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 204-986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
