Timberwolves to help unveil upgraded Magnus Eliason community centre

Talk about a flashy way to unveil a new-look community centre.

A pair of as-yet unnamed members of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves will be on hand today at the recently upgraded Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre, at 430 Langside St.

The players, Timberwolves dancers and the NBA mascot will be at the centre from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Minnesota plays the Detroit Pistons at the MTS Centre in exhibition play Wednesday night.
