Today could see spring showers

Believe it or not, spring has finally arrived in Winnipeg.

Environment Canada is calling for a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 5 C today, a day after the mercury hit 6 C in the Manitoba capital. These temperatures are still below normal for this time of year (the average high is 8 C), but at least things are headed in the right direction.

Tonight, look for a 30 per cent chance of showers early this evening. The low will be -9 C.

Tuesday, expect sunny skies and a high of 7 C before things start to really warm up. Environment Canada is forecasting a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 14 C for Wednesday.
