Traffic slowdown in Brandon after semi hits bridge

Crews attend to a semi-trailer collision at the railway bridge on Highway 1A near Kemnay Thursday afternoon. RCMP report the driver was westbound when he misjudged the height of the underpass and collided with it. No one was injured in the mishap.

Expect serious traffic delays on Highway 1-A near Brandon after a semi-trailer hit the Kemnay Bridge this afternoon.

RCMP Sgt. Rob Lockhart said that the driver of the semi misjudged the height of the bridge.

Further details on the condition of the bridge will be released as they become available.
