Triple stabbing puts three in hospital

Three women are in stable condition in hospital following a triple-stabbing in downtown Winnipeg overnight.

The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. in the area of Kennedy Street and Cumberland Avenue. One woman was seriously hurt but has since been upgraded to stable.

No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate the situation.

Yellow police tape remains up in on Cumberland at Kennedy. Motorists are advised to avoid the area this morning.
