Trucker's death not suspicious: police

Police are now saying the death of a 52-year-old trucker who was found with life-threatening injuries next to his truck in Plum Coulee last month is not suspicious following a post-mortem.

He was found lying beside his semi at Sunset Diner in Plum Coulee Sept. 18 and was transported to the Boundary Trails Hospital in critical condition, then transferred to Winnipeg’s Health Sciences Centre where he died.

The deceased is not being identified, police said. Neither Altona Police who were investigating nor RCMP are providing any further information.
