Two arrested after shooting on Manitoba Avenue

Two suspects are in custody following a shooting in Winnipeg's William Whyte neighbourhood Monday afternoon.

Police would not confirm the ages or gender of the two suspects. The two are being held following the initial investigation into the shooting of a male teenage youth in the 600 block of Manitoba Avenue.

The shooting took place at approximately 2 p.m.

The victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition. He has since been upgraded to stable.

Police continue to investigate in the incident.
