Two arrested and charged after woman stabbed on Sagkeeng,

Two people who entered a home at Sagkeeng First Nations on Monday night brandishing a knife and crowbar are facing charges of assault causing bodily harm after a 30-year-old woman was stabbed during the disturbance.

Calum Stuart Lothian, 21, and Laura Faye Buboire, 22, have also been charged with forcible entry, possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes and being unlawfully in a dwelling house, according to RCMP.

The disputed ended with a 30-year-old Winnipeg woman stabbed. The female victim was treated by EMS and released at the scene.

Lothian and Buboire were remanded into custody and will be making a court appearance in Winnipeg on June 12.
