Two dead after Rossburn house fire

A man and a woman are dead after a house fire in Rossburn early Saturday.

Rossburn RCMP said today the blaze broke out in the single-storey detached home at about 3 a.m.

Firefighters and RCMP rushed to the fire, but couldn’t save the couple inside. Police are not releasing their names.

There were no other people inside the home and there was no damage to other homes. Police do not have a damage estimate for the home.

The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner is helping investigate.

Rossburn is located about 100 kilometres northwest of Brandon.
