Two men injured in violent incidents

Police are investigating a pair of separate outbursts of violence that struck Winnipeg early Wednesday morning.

The first call occurred at about 3:30 a.m., when police were called to the 600 block of Victor Street to attend to an injured man. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition and is refusing to co-operate with investigators.

An hour later, police responded to a separate incident in the 300 block of Langside Street, after another report of an injured man. The victim was rushed to hospital in unstable condition, but has since been upgraded to stable.

Although the victims appear to have been wounded through violence, police were not able to confirm the nature of their injuries.

Police continue to investigate, but have not made an arrest in either incident.
