Two men seriously injured in ATV crash

Two men suffered serious injuries after the ATV they were on struck a car in Flin Flon Sunday.

The driver of the car, a 54-year-old female, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Her passenger, 58, was not injured.

Flin Flon RCMP stated in a release they were dispatched just before 11:30 p.m. to Main Street and Third Avenue in Flin Flon for the collision. The investigation showed the two men on the ATV, a 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male, were travelling northbound on Main Street when they hit the car. Both men were transported to hospital with serious injuries, and one is still in critical condition.

Alcohol has not been ruled out as a factor. RCMP stated both men on the ATV were not wearing helmets. The investigation is ongoing.
