Two men wanted after beer vendor robbery

Two men made away with an undisclosed sum of cash from the till of a beer vendor in the 800 block of Regent Avenue on Friday night.

One of the men threatened the vendor employee with a knife, before the suspects went behind the store counter and stole cash.

No injuries were reported. The suspects fled by vehicle southbound towards Pandora Avenue in a newer model, four-door light coloured car (possibly grey).

One suspect is described as Caucasian, 5'10" - 6'0" tall, average build, about 30 years old, with brown eyes and unshaven.

The other suspect is Caucasian, 6'0" tall, with a skinny build.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact investigators at 204 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204 786-TIPS (8477).
