Two overnight fires being investigated

The Arson Strike Force is investigating two suspicious fires Wednesday night in Winnipeg.

At 7:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a blaze in the 400 block of Boyd Avenue. No one was injured in the fire that caused an estimated $75,000 damage.

Just after 9 p.m., emergency workers responded to a fire in the 200 block of Broadway. Damage was estimated at $100,000.

The cause of both fires is under investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 204-986-6813 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
