A 39-year-old male is in stable condition after being physically assaulted Friday night and suffering what police describe as "multiple lacerations."
The victim was approached around the 300 block of Ross Avenue about 10:50 p.m. by a group of armed male suspects who demanded the victim hand over his personal property.
The suspects escaped after assaulting the man, but were found a short time later by Division 11 foot patrol members.
The two 18-year-old males were taken into custody and are facing charges of robbery.
The police continue to investigate the incident and would appreciate any help from those with more information on the incident.
