UCN names new president
University College of the North has named interim president Konrad Jonasson as the northern institution’s new president.
Jonasson had been one of two finalists for the job, along with Helen Allen, most recently a vice-president at Vancouver Community College.
Jonasson had been the school’s interim president since the government council let go previous president Denise Henning in early 2011.
UCN has two campuses in Thompson and The Pas, as well as 14 regional campuses across the north.
