Underwood blows this way for May 15 concert

First, Taylor Swift. Now it’s double country superstardom for Winnipeg next year because Carrie Underwood will also blow into town in 2013.

Underwood has added 40 new dates to her Blown Away Tour, including a stop at the MTS Centre on May 15. Louisiana singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Hunter Hayes will open.

Ticket information hasn’t yet been released, but seats for shows in select markets go on sale Friday, Nov. 2. Prices for other Canadian shows range from $61 to $81. One dollar from each ticket sold on the North American leg of the tour will go to Red Cross disaster relief.
