WSD stuffing a bus for cheer board Wednesday

  • Print

Students and staff from the Winnipeg School Division will stuff a school bus with food and toys Wednesday for the Christmas Cheer Board, according to the division.

The donations will go towards the 19,000 Christmas hampers the Winnipeg charity plans to deliver this year.

Santa Bus Schedule

9:30 a.m. Child Guidance Clinic – 700 Elgin Ave.
10:30 a.m. Prince Charles Education Resource Centre, 1075 Wellington Ave.
11:15 a.m. Service Building – 1395 Spruce St.
1:00 p.m. Administrative Buildings No. 1 and 2 – 1577 Wall St, East

Although administrative staff from the school division will do most of the work filling the bus, they’ve invited some students to bring holiday cheer.

Students from the Sisler High School Jazz Band will hop aboard the Santa Bus for a holiday show.

The bus will travel around Winnipeg throughout the day. Winnipeggers are invited to stop by and contribute donations.
