Walk targets animal abuse

Animal lovers will converge on The Forks late this afternoon for a walk to support the fight against animal abuse.

The Stop Animal Abuse Walk will begin at the docks at The Forks at 5:30 p.m. and will head to the Manitoba Legislature by 6:15 p.m.

Donations for Paw Tipsters, a non-profit group aligned with Crime Stoppers that offers rewards for tips on animal abuse, will be accepted.
