Find a way to get outside and enjoy the day today.

The forecast from Environment Canada is calling for a gorgeous afternoon, with nothing but sunshine and a high of 27 C. The wind will blow from the south 30 km/h.

The skies should start to cloud over this evening into the night, with a 30 per cent chance of showers (and a risk of a thunderstorm) before morning. The low is 16 C.

That small chance of showers should stick with us Friday morning before things start to clear up in the afternoon. Friday’s high is expected to be 23 C.

Right now, your long weekend forecast looks like this:

Saturday, sunny and 23 C.

Sunday, a 70 per cent chance of showers and 22 C.

Monday, back to the sunshine and 23 C.
