Warm weather, clear skies returning

For those heading out to the Banjo Bowl at noon, it’s a perfect day for pickin’ and grinnin’ and football.
Clear skies and a high of 23 Celsius are forecast for Winnipeg today, with a south wind of 20 kilometres per hour expected soon after the opening kick-off between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Canad Inns Stadium.
The south breeze will bring some warm weather back to southern Manitoba. Tonight’s overnight low is 12 C with a high of 25 C forecast Monday. The normal high for this time of year in Winnipeg is 19 C. Sunshine and highs in the low 20s are expected to stick around through to next weekend.
