Warrant issued for second suspect in brutal Silver Heights attack
Winnipeg police are hunting for a second suspect in a brutal attack that left a man clinging to life.
On Friday, police announced they had issued an arrest warrant for Dallas McKay, 22, who they believe is partly responsible for a Silver Heights-area beating last weekend.
McKay has a large tattoo on the right side of his neck, which includes a pair of dice and a stylized word.
At about 3 a.m on Aug. 4, police were called to Fidler Avenue and Mount Royal Road, where they found a man who had been assaulted, suffering serious wounds to his upper body. He was rushed to hospital and remains in critical condition.
Police soon arrested one suspect, who remains in custody. He is facing charges of aggravated assault, two counts of assault, and uttering death threats.
