Winnipeg Free Press - ONLINE EDITION
The filmmakers behind the new docudrama We Were Children will be in the Free Press News Café for a breakfast panel discussion Tuesday morning.
The film, shot entirely in Manitoba, features the stories of two residential school survivors. It was produced by Winnipeg’s Eagle Vision Inc., the National Film Board of Canada and eOne Television.
The discussion, moderated by Free Press TV writer Brad Oswald, will feature producer Lisa Meeches, director Tom Wolochatiuk and the National Film Board's Tom Perlmutter.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and interact with panelists at the News Café at 237 McDermot Ave. The discussion begins at 7:30 a.m..
We Were Children premieres on APTN Tuesday night at 8 p.m.
